Has anyone had prolapse surgery? If so, was it successful?!

Lots of people have had this. Some of it is successful and some isn't.

Just completed Mitral Valve Prolapse surgery on Valentine's day. Still in the rehab stage, but the valve was repaired, a ring sewn in to stop the prolapse, the valve noise is all but gone as is the blood regurg, and the surgeon and my Cardiologist both feel the surgery was a 100% success.
