My friends stool was green..she's kinda worried, what should she do?!
Question: She's felt sick to her stomach lately. She dosnt have the money for a doctor right now.
Answers:
**With the sick feeling lately, it sounds like Rotovirus--the flu. Have her push fluids slowly to avoid dehydration. I found this other info also just in case:
"Green stools often indicate that food has passed through the intestines faster than normal (called decreased colon transit time), before it could be changed from green to brown.
Diarrhea decreases colon transit time, so any condition that causes diarrhea can result in green stools.
Other causes of green stools are:
laxative use
antibiotic use
medication side effects
food poisoning
celiac disease
ulcerative colitis
Crohn's disease
malabsorption
irritable bowel syndrome
bacterial overgrowth
infectious diarrhea - salmonella and giardia in particular anxiety
traveler's diarrhea
cancer
Foods and supplements that can cause green stools include:
chlorophyll
iron supplements
algae"
Hope this helps!

Flush it!
Don't worry. Had them happen before. Still going strong and didn't need to go to the Doctor!
It's probably something she ate. Has she been drinking alcohol lately? I wouldn't worry about it unless it has blood in it. Give her some Pepto and wait a few days
Very simply most stomach problems are directly related to what you've eaten. If she doesn't have any blood in her stool, and isn't feverish I wouldn't be too concerned. Maybe she ate something that didn't agree with her. As far as the color, again probably something she ate. Hope the links below help.

Nothing, green is a normal varient.
The only colors you have to worry about is red which is bleeding from some where in the colon down.
And a dark Black tarry type stool which is bleeding up higher in the GI tract.
ahh, it happens to me all the time. its mostly a lack of vitamin c. have her eat a banana and drink lots of fruit juices and water, with rest. she'll feel better in a day or so.
depends on what she ate. i ate red velvet cake one time and my stool was red . lol~!~ so tell her its ok. as long as she got it out.
