she needs to go to the doctor she may have an infection in her breasts and will need antibiotics. she can try warm compresses and expressing her milk but seriously sounds like an infection
Call 911
Sounds like pneumonia or pleurisy, but call 911 or your emergency number ASAP

i'm a nurse
I am not sure her chest pain has anything to do with the nursing, she may have a cold or the flu. However, because she is nursing, she needs to rest. When a mom breastfeeds, she needs to sit (with feet up preferred), have a beverage nearby (milk , juice or water) and do nothing but relax and nurse. The production of the milk, and the act of lactation take a stress on the body and she needs to keep a balance. If she is not doing this, her resistance may be down, thus the reason for the flu-like symptoms. Other breastfeeding questions can be answered by your local la leche league
definitely an infection and very possible on her breast. Go to see the doctor immediately. May be u can use low dose pain killer to temporarily get rid of the pain if she cannot any longer resist it
Take her to the doctor as soon as humanly possible, but barring that have her try a warm washcloth on her chest or a heating pad.when i was breastfeeding my kids sometimes heat on my chest was the only thing stopping me from crying due to the pain.
You need to take her to the ER NOW. It sounds like a serious gland infection from nursing. I'm an EMT - GO NOW AND GET OFF THE INETERNET!
Why would anyone get online to ask a question like that. If you think its serious enough to warrant this type of action TAKE HER TO HOSPITAL GENIOUS
