it may help, it will change the hormone levels in your body, just be careful because getting pregnant adds pounds and stretch marks!

it happened to me.but i can't say that it is true for everyone
I gained ten pounds while on birth control. I have been off of it for almost a year now and I still have not lost the weight! I work out all the time too. I'm sorry I couldn't help, but good luck!
An equal amount of people gain or lose weight when they go on the pill. I've heard that the pill have a very very minor effect on your appetite and that it also makes your body retain more water.
When I was first on the pill I actually lost weight, but now I'm starting to put a few on again. I don't think the pill has that much effect on your weight. You might lose some water weight but that happens naturally during your menstrual cycle anyways.
You should probably notice a difference in your weight during your cycle (usually 1-8lbs) and I'm sure going off the pill is the same experience in that the loss is just a minor water loss and you will gain some of it back during your cycle again anyway. It will just be a temporary minor loss of water weight.
You should ask your doctor to prescribe you try a lower-dose birth control pill. That worked for me.
It's easier to lose the weight without the added hormones, but unfortunately it doesn't magically drop off. You have to diet to get it back off usually.
well, i would not say immmediatly, you should loose the wieght though. good luck.
it's according to what kind of birth control you're on and how your body takes to it.It's different for every indivdual. You might have to ask your doctor.
I gained weight on the pill, but it never came off. Don't go off until you have another definite birth control plan in place. Don't take chances!
IM NOT ACTUALLY SURE BUT YOU SHOULD JUST ASK YOUR DOCTOR TO GIVE YOU THE LOWEST DOSAGE POSSIBLE. I TAKE ALEESE AND I HAVEN'T GAINED ANY WEIGHT I WAS ON ORTHO TRY-WHATEVER AND I BLEW UP. IM VERY HAPPY WITH ALEESE. IT MAKES ME HUNGRY ALL THE TIME BUT I CAN'T SEE WHERE THE FOOD IS GOIND. JUST ASK FOR THE LOWEST DOSAGE POSSIBLE. IT WILL STILL PROTECT YOU THE SAME AS YOUR REGULAR DOSAGE
IT DOES NOT FOLLW. MAYBE WEIGHT LOSS IS CAUSE BY ANOTHER SICKNESS OR PROBLEM.
