Is running around the resivare once a week a good way to exercise?]?!

Running in general is a good cardiovascular exercise. However your frequency is too low to really have much benefit. I would recommend running for about 3-4 times a week. Eventually once running a certain distance becomes easy, you need to increase that distance.
