What are signs of severe dehydration in toddlers?!

If you gently pinch the skin on the back of a dehydrated child's hand, it flattens slowly when released.

very nicely pinch he/she skin. If the skin stays pinched she/he is dehydrated. Is the toddler crying (tears) and is the mouth wet inside. If not call the doctor immediately.

Decrease urine output, dry mucus membranes(eyes, nose, mouth), no tears when crying. Here's a test gently pinch the skin on the forearm and if it is slow returning to the normal position then the toddler may be dehydrated. Try giving her/him popsicles. Encourage small sips of water, juice, etc. every 1-2 hours.

look at the lips they will look parched and look at the tips of the fingures and hands they will be slightely wrinkled,,give the baby plenty pop cicles or any juice gator aid .. even sugar and water mixed together will help.. do not give the baby milk .and take it to the doctor
