Mouth ulcers are a common problem. It comes and goes.
First thing is they can resolve by themselves in a week or two.If the ulcer persists for more than 3 weks then u need medical attention.
well these ulcers are called as a apthous ulcers. There is lot of research on how and why these ulcers form, but unfortunately there has been no satisfactory explanation. So if u are prone to get ulcers recurrently there is nothing that can be done to stop it coming to you permanently BUT u can get symtomatic relief.
U CAN use a BONJELA GEL or BIORAL.even some mouthwashes are available like benZydamine and chlorhexidine mouthwashes all these prove to be effective.More effective treatment are available for intolerably troublesome ulcers..but only a dentist can prescribe those drugs!!
Assuming there is not anything more sinister underlying it and you just want it healed quickly.

in NZ (not sure if it's only available in this country) there is a brilliant product called "Frador" that stings like hell when you apply it but then almost instant relief and the ulcer's usually totally gone in hours. Worth getting if it's available in your neck of the woods.
Try rinsing your mouth with warm salt water. It's an unpleasant taste but that's what worked for me!
Rinse with salt water, and, if they don't go away, call the doctor. Also, if you smoke or chew tobaccky, you might want to stop because those precancerous leukoplakia are bad.
Strong alcohol based mouth washes work best.
A doctor recommended to a friend of mine once, a fifty-fifty solution of water and hydrogen peroxide. Swish around the mouth for a minute or so three times a day and spit out. Don't swallow it.

You can buy something called gly-oxide over the counter, but its main ingredient is hydrogen peroxide, and it's expensive. Plain peroxide is cheap.
The suggestions of salt water and such are great, and usually quite effective, but I go one step further. This is unpleasant and it will sting, but it works. When I get ulcers, I usually get them just inside my lower lip. I get a teaspoon of salt and pour as much as possible between my lip and gum, and let the salt sit there for several minutes. After this, I pull my lip down and gently push the salt out, then rinse my mouth. Initially it hurts, but the pain subsides in a few seconds and I usually find the ulcer has cleared by the following morning. (The other bonus is that you probably have salt on hand and won't have to spend money buying other products.)

For times that you can't do this (e.g. if you're at work, etc.) you can use a gel called SM33. Here in Australia it is made by a company called Roche, which has recently been taken over by Bayer. It numbs the area and helps heal the ulcers - though I still say that direct application of salt works best for me, I have used SM33 many times and it's a great product.

Be careful about using alcohol-based mouthwashes and the like if your driving laws require you to have a zero blood alcohol concentration. Although you don't drink the mouthwash, the alcohol will still register on a breath test and could land you in trouble if, like here, some drivers are required to have a zero BAC.

Just be sure that these are regular mouth ulcers and not something more serious. I usually get ulcers when I've had too much refined sugar. Try cutting back on your sugar intake and see if that helps. :)

Gargle with salt water. You should find that it works a treat. Salt is cheap and easy to get hold of and we all have it at home, so no need to splash out and spend lots of money on expensive mouth ulcer creams.
