Help! stop the midnight munchies?!

Question: I always get so hungry late at night. I eat good during the day. And I always get pretty full at dinner. What can I do to curb my hunger?
Answers:
For some people, eating can be considered a nervous disorder. When nothing else is going on, you feel like you have to eat, just to be doing something. Just like some people smoke, just so their hands occupied, while drinking at the bar. This probably doesn't apply to you specifically. I just wanted to mention it in case it might apply.
If you think it does, have a talk with your doctor.

Try keeping fresh fruit and veggies in the fridge. If you must eat, carrots or grapes are infinitely better for you than Twinkies or nachos.

You could also try going to bed earlier. If your a midnight muncher, go to bed earlier. Sleep through your hunger!

Good Luck!

Other Answers:
Drink more water
Eat some yougurt.
It is low in fat, high in calcium. Good for you!
You can even get fat free/sugar free.
It makes you feel full, without binging on something unhealthy.
I freeze it partially, and it sort of makes you think, "ice cream". yumm!
what are you eating how late do you go to bed and guess what else. that is just something you will have to take control of it is 10:30 pm here almost and I am hungry now, just not eating. (smile)
Eat only fruits and vegetables after 8pm if you feel hungry.. and drink plenty of water to fill you up. Also low GI foods will make you fill fuller for longer.
Are you really hungry, or are you eating out of habit, boredom or stress? If you're eating for reasons other than actual and real hunger, than you need to address those issues.

If you really are feeling hunger, eat more protein. Protein will keep your stomach full longer.
