I dont see why there should be something wrong with that.
yes, if u don't feel any pain or anything there is no problems its not like it cud kill u
Sure if you want to.
Fine? Probably not. It's hard on your enamel to be crunching on ice like that.

The absence of pain is not necessarily an indication that it is okay to be chewing ice.
No thats just not normale!
sure, knock yourself out!
It is so funny to find this question! I do the same thing (but more than 1 glass probably). I don't think this is good for teeth. I feel no pain either, but who is to say what it will be like in 10 years. I want to keep my teeth! Try chewing gum, sucking on a mint, or drinking bottled water with no ice. Those are the things I do to keep myself from chewing too much!
A friend of mine has been doing this for years. She's 41. No problem.
check your doctor. eating ice is a sign of low iron.
It's fine, no harm for your teeth or jaws but it might be a good idea to have your blood count checked because eating ice is a sometimes sign of anemia.
When I was pregnant I did this. (sonic Ice was the best)Someone told me your body is missing something if it is a craving.
i don't see what can go wrong with that. I do that sometimes.
From my knowledge I don't think it will do you any harm. Obviously if it starts to hurt, stop. But I'm pretty sure it will provide you with less hydration than drinking water. If you are trapped in a snow stown, eating the snow will not keep you from getting dehyrated. You have to melt it first. I would assume eating ice would be the same principle.

well thats not a problem but in future it will not be good for your gums or teeth. consult a doctor thats not a bad idea and you will have clear mind regarding eating ice or not.
Actually eating things at extreme temperatures (like really hot, or freezing) is really bad for your stomach. I've been told that it can cause genetic mutations in your stomach, aka cancer. Find something else to chew on.
Actually, a person who "chews on ice" is usually a person who is anemic. Try to get your iron levels check.
There is absolutly nothing wrong with chewing ice! it strengths your jaws, and its just as though you were getting your glass of water that every one needs!
