The quickest thing to do is work with a counselor. On your own, you need to start identifying which things in your life are associated with stress. You could start keeping a journal. You also need to pay attention to your stress response: physical, emotional, behavioral. You can try eliminating stimulants like coffee, tea, chocolate, sugar. You can try quiet time like prayer, meditation, reading something mellow like poetry or meditations. That's a good start.
talk to your family doctor and try yoga, very relaxing!
stop and thinnk about whether or not the situation is worth you being stressed out!

you should do something that you like that will relax you. Like go shopping or chill with friends.
I was also and I went to my doctor because it seemed like I was biting everyone's head off. She put me on Wellbutrin SR and I feel great it took a month but I am happy and not stressed out any longer. Good Luck
Well ask yourself a few things first. Is your everyday environment stable or chaotic? Are your personal relationships fullfilling or reeking havoc? Hows your health? Do you take time for you to just relax, read , workout etc?

Take one thing in your life at a time. Evaluate them all. One by one. Which parts of your life are feeling right to you and what parts of your life feel like they need some changes. Before I go off on doctors meds etc, it seems you and only you know what it is in your life/health that might be a trigger for you.
1. Cut out caffeine products like colas and chocolate.
2. Drink herbal teas like Tension Tamer by Bigelow.
3. Take deep zen-like breaths like yoga practioners do.
4. Listen to or play your own soothing music.
5. Focus on your blessings, not whatever obstructions are causing you to worry.
6. Light aromatherapy candles, dim the lights, and relax n
in a warm bath.
7. Exercise relieves stress and it can be as simple as
taking a walk to clear your head.
8. Look around you. Pay attention to the colors, sounds,
and smells of nature and enjoy! Try photography.
9. Visit a trusted therapist.
10. Journal. Putting your feelings on paper miraculously
releases tension and often reveals solutions.

11. Ask yourself if whatever is causing your stress going to matter to you in 5 years. 99% of the time it won't and you'll realize you're upset for nothing and you'll become more centered.
