How do you get rid of burnt hair smell from hair.?!
Question: I used a hair straightener on my daughters hair (biracial hair). It burnt it really bad so I had to get her hair cut. After 2 washings it still stinks like burnt hair. I tried lemon juice and nice smell hair products but it still is bad. Any suggestions?

nice smelling hair products are not going to help (other than masking the smell, products like herbal esences do not cleanse sufficiently). what you need (but this is dependant on your daughters age and if your willing to buy good products for her hair) is Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner.. and maybe even the leave in treatments.. these products restore the protein in your hair.
Im really surprised to hear that her hair actually burnt from an iron.. if your reconsidering your iron choice. Chi is the best straightener on the market. its pricey but you wont find a better iron (uses ions and ceramic plates)

yeah that kinda happened to me, but it didnt get that bad burned, but it smelled kinda like PANKAKES! crazy i know well just wash it like if it was normal, like if it didnt smell, and then itll stop smelling, cause mine did, but yeah it will go away.
