Im 14 years old with a ton of diet questions im wondering if i can have someones!

Listen, please listen! I was an overweight young teen and tried a ton of (and sometimes VERY dangerous) diets- everything from starvation to Slim Fast. Here's the deal- everyone is built differently, some girls will never look like Jennifer Anniston, NOR SHOULD THEY! Also, girls grow out and then up, so it's perfectly natural to put on a little weight and depending on where you are in the whole puberty thing, you may not be able to lose weight very well. So eat well (try to stay away from empty calories, like white bread; eat lots of fruits and veggies, get your protein, drink tons of water, and save junk food for one afternoon a week) and exercise. See if you and your mom could sign up for Curves, it is a GREAT resistant and cardio workout for women only, it's FABULOUS! Don't freak about diets or anything, Americans obsess too much about it.
