How do you recover from a ruined sleeping cycle?!


Question: Ok i have a friend of mine who has developed a habit of sleeping all day and staying up all night. now she can't get a job because she's too tired during the day and doesn't know how to break the cycle. prayers for this girl would be appreciated as well as some help with her dillema, since i haven't the slightest clue what to do. does anyone know an effective way to ease her into not being nocturnal. she's willing, just not sure what to do.

It takes time, but it can be done. Have her stay up a little longer each day like 15 - 30 minutes. Then get up a little earlier the next day, the same amount of time.

Maybe she sleeps so much because she is depressed?

But one idea would be to NOT sleep until the next night. Like if she is still up until 6 am for example.tell her to stay up all day, force herself, then go to sleep at like 8 pm. That should help fix her cycle.

Also, if she has problems falling asleep at night. I recommend a herbal drug call Melatonin. It is really good and is not like other sleep aids which just make you drowsy. Read about Melatonin as I have used it myself, and I found it REALLY helpful.
