What can I do about menstrual cramps?!

Question: Help! Oh and I don't wanna take any medicine.
Answers:
i find that eating lots of pepper in my diet reduced the severity of my cramps by a whole lot. But my mom always tells me to tolerate it. that childbirth is alot worst. but i say eat panadol or any form of painkiller if it's killing u. kill the pain before it kills u!

Other Answers:
If you don't want to take medicine, you need to tolerate it.
Hot water bottle or just some quick painkillers but if you don't want to do that then unfortunately you will have to grin and bare it.
Well, a hot water bottle might offer you some relief, ditto things like ginger wine and sloe gin (if you're legal age for drinking where you are, obv. ;)). Exercise is supposed to be good as well, and you can special heat packs that stick to your undies and warm the area (not so good for summer though, eh?) You could consider diet aswell, I've heard that eating dairy food just before and during your period will make the pain worse. I really think you might want to consider the no medicen angle. I used to have really bad cramps and the doctor put on the pill, I really found that it helped (got rid of my PMS too!).

Hope this helps a bit!
You may just be one of the lucky ones. At least you can have a hope of taking some medicine. As for me, NOTHING --> I mean NOTHING works. I tried everything, hot showers, heating pads, exercise, pain killers, birth control, everything! Nothing works for me and my periods are SO painful to the point I can't even stand up. So take some medicine it may help you.
I know this may sound sick to some people but it works! A good hot bath then put a towel on the bed and make Love to your man!

i know
Products called Naprogesic or Naprosyn really kick period pain in the but. It will totally get rid of it. The bad news is that continual use throughout your lifetime will give you a nice little ulcer. So my other suggestion is a chinese herbal tea which can be found in health food stores which is a muscle relaxant and very gently eases the severity. You will probably still be a little nauseous but the cramping will definitely ease considerably. I can personally attest to this. One of my long time close friends put me on to this.
