Is there health insurance for domestic partnerships?!

Question: My partner and i have been together for 4 and 1/2 years and he is in need of a full coverage insurance for his university. we wanted to try doing it together if at all possible.

The insurance companies do not recognize domestic partnerships unless the individual state demand this recognition.

Other Answers:
I think rules vary by state.
It varies by company. Some allow it and some don't. If you already have insurance, see if your policy allows the addition of a domestic partner and what the rules are. If you do not currently have coverage, you should be able to find a plan that will allow the two of you to join together if you shop around.
Talk to me about Ameri Plan. We offer extensive medical, dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic coverage at a discount. And because it's not insurance, there are no restrictions. A family plan covers anyone in the household.even those not related to you. wlakin@ameriplan.net
