average is every 28 days but the best way is just to use that as an estimate and then next time your period comes write it in your calendar/diary. You will soon see a pattern imerge.
just mark the days with a pen on the calender. start with today (the day you start) and mark every day that you're still bleeding until you're done.
make sure its up to date
The day menstrual flow begins is 'Day One'. Circle this date on the calendar and notate as 'Day One'. For each following month, circle Day One and continue this for for at least 7-8 months.

Continue maintaining a record of the number of days in each cycle. When bleeding starts, circle the date on your calendar.

To determine the first day you are likely to ovulate, examine your records from previous months, find the shortest cycle, and subtract 18 from the total number of days.

For example, if your shortest cycle is 28 days long, subtract 18 from 28, which leaves 10. Starting with the date you circled (Day One, the first day of your current cycle) count ahead ten days and draw an O (for 'ovulation') through that second date. This day will be the date you are most likely to become fertile.

also later when you've had it a while you will feel just before it comes like a few days in advance, i don't and never have used the calendar method myself but it good when you first get your period
Your question doesn't make a lot of sense. What's the calendar method? You mean just writing down when your period starts? You take a pen and a small calendar and make an X on the first day of your period, then do this each month..
yup menstrual cycle is usually 28 days. mark down the days starting the first day there's blood.usually its takes 3-4 days i think. when there's no blood that's the time you start counting 28 days. this is usually right for regular periods.

one thing is to also check a doctor to know more about the cycle because not all women have the same cycle.
