I don't think so. It's a way to stop people thinking about sex (with or without a partner) and to stop something that is clearly condemned in the bible (Onan didn't have children because he used to masturbate, etc.)

I think masturbation is very healthy and more parents need to talk to their children about it and their sexual feelings. If more parents would encourage masturbation then they wouldn't have to worry about the kids having sex and babies because they would know that its not such a big thing after all.
