does taking a large dose of ib profen stop or slow bleeding?!

Question: someone told me that if you take several large doses of ib profen while on your period it'll significantly diminish the amount of blood flow, is this true?
Answers:
No, it just helps the cramps, and quite frankly, if you can't feel it so much, you stop thinking about it, and it seems to be over faster. The thing you want to do to help your period pass faster is excercise. Ride a bike, run or walk, something that will get the muscles in that region working. It sounds odd, but that really does work.

no it doesnt but if you do take large amounts of ibruprofen you could do yourself some damage see your doctor he might be able to give you something to lighten your blood flow
No. Absolutely not. Ibuprofen has anti clotting agents in it and can significantly increase your blood flow. You can't decrease it with anything, but you can take Aleve or Tylenol for cramps without worrying about increasing blood flow.
