Does buffing your finernails make them thinnner?!

Yes, for obvious reasons. Buffing them removes part of the nail, when you remove part of the nail the result is that it is thinner. Now if you ask HOW much thinner that's a different story. It probably just removes a TINY amount so buffing everynow and then should be fine; over doing it could result in injury though.

If you buff too much, yes.
Any buffing will thin them out, but it only becomes an issue if you buff too often. I would not do it more than 1-2 times a month.
