Answers:
sounds like she took a good beating!

Other Answers:
Take her to a hospital she needs a medical professional to determine what the problem is.
She probably got hit by somebody
It sounds like she's be beaten. Take her to a doctor or hospital and get her treated. If she's been beaten, they will notify the police.
Cold packs - she has been mouthing off to a man or woman that has no respect, for her person.
probably got beat up by her man that's why she's so secretive. And no, it couldn't be an STD.
yes get her checked out! you will be glad YOU did.
it could be an alergic reaction but I must agree it sounds more like some one used her for a punching bag. Get her to a doctor either way and if she was beated call the police. don't let whoever just get away with this. they need to be in jail.
i'm no doc.it could b the german measels.which is
contagious to those who have'nt had it.
could be something else.
ask siw ..
by telling her 1st its none of your bizness.& would understand if she wanted 2 keep mum 'bout it,
but u r concerned...
depending on what spots look like.could b spousal abuse :(
If she had the marks and swelling before she started taking the medication then she's either been gagged or forced to give someone oral sex, and than raped. If the marks and swelling appeared after she started taking the medication she's suffering a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotics (yes it's possible). You and your wife know which answer is the more probable one. Take her to the hospital if its an allergic reaction. Her throat could swell shut next. She needs medical attention soon.

MommaToldMe.don't dilly dally around here.
Face swollen and black marks all over her face? That's not an STD, I'd say that her husband (your brother?) is beating her. Swollen and black bruises is a definite sign of being beaten. This is a very serious issue. You should confront your sister-in-law, get her to admit it (very difficult) and then call the police on your brother and have him arrested. There's nothing worse than a cowardly mother fucker who beats his woman. You should beat him in return to teach him a lesson.
See a doctor soon.
I would seek medicalal help from your doctor if you have one or if not, go to a medical clinic to get a doctor's advice.
It doesn't hurt to do a little research yourself, or herself to try and discover the cause (as she is secretive she could already know) and I am giving one link that may help, and typing in "conditions causing bruising" in Google search bar gave me many links to try.
I have to be honest, if not STD (reason so secretive) it does sound like a back hander or two being the cause.
Women are secretive about abusive relationships (until they see the light). Or...
It's a swelling and bruising caused by sexual games, you never know you hear about these people who like the kinky side of things. Just looking at it from all angles, but if she isn't ready to share her predicament, then I wouldn't push it too much but keep an eye on her for signs of a violent partner, she just may need a physical angel nearby, understand?
I hope she'll be ok, and thankgod she has you about, just you loving her enough to be concerned will go a long way.
God Bless You!
