I see spots.?!


Question: Anyone with migrane auras know what I am talking about, but I get floating black and silver spots in my regular vision. They come and go while I am wathcing tv or reading or whatever.

I would have my Iron level checked. That happened to me when I was pregnant and my iron was low.

Yep, I get those too, especially when I'm looking up at the sky. No idea what they're from, though!
You may have something called vitreous floaters, which is little bits of solid matter in your intra-ocular fluid. They are harmless.

Most people get them by their 40s, but it's not unusual to get them much earlier.I had them in my late teens.
They are called "floaters" and it's when part of your retina detaches from your eye. It just floats around in there. There is nothing you can do to get rid of them, according to my eye doctor, but I practice pretending they are not there. Occasionally I look as though I am swatting flies that are not there, but this usually happens when it is sunny out. When you are driving, try not to look at the sun, b/c it makes it hard to drive.
