I'm curious - why?

Certain antibiotics will bind to the calcium in the dairy rather than be absorbed and used by your system. This is the reason for the warning on the label to avoid dairy while taking the med

I know that if you have a lot of mucus the dairy products will only make it worse. That might be their reason. Hope you feel better.
Actually yogurt helps, cause antibiotics kill all bacteria good and bad. Yogurt is a probiotic and helps replace the good bacteria in your stomach. This is why some people who take antibiotics have stomach cramps and get diarrhea. Yogurt helps that.
they might interfer with the antibotic
Well from what i Heard and its true cause i have do it, is that it make you feel sick dizzy and it causus vomit, I miself did it but i dont know if it can happen to you, Ps try asking ur doctor so you can be sure!
Actually yogurt dose not help, all dairy produce are contra indicated. when taking this medication.
Milk causes your body to make more mucus. You should not drink milk if you are seriously stuffed up, but after you are done with your antibiotics you should eat yogurt or drink buttermilk to replace the good bacteria in your system.
