I am 46 and want to find exercises to do to keep my face young?!


Question: I heard that aging is gentic and my mom has jowls. Ihave just a little sagging and want to prevent anymore.

On QVC they sell this little exerciser for your face. It really works. You work all the face and neck muscles. I use to have a double chin, not any more. It's toned and tightened.

I dont think "Excercising" and keeping your face young belong together in any circumstance. theres ways though, but it involves products (ie, botox), but you can always try aswell a type of machine that sprays a hot-water hard-hitting mist that opens your pours. try that a few times a week either buying that type of machine which is inexpensive or doing this by boiling water (turning it off) and putting your face on top of the kettle (when the kettle isnt hot anymore, obviosly) with a towel over your head spend a few minutes that way do it a few times' a week. you can also massage your face before bedtime with a moisterizer .
Research shows that running make your face more droopy. So stick to things with less bouncing up and down, like a bike or rowing, this is also better for your joints.

Exercising the muscles in your face is crucial to maintaining a young appearance. Beauty treatments with creams can't lift sagging muscles.

Here is a simple exercise.

First you rest your hand on your neck just below the jawline. The hand is there so you can feel the muscles on your face working.
Then you open your mouth halfway and keep it open throughout the exercise.
Then you try to make a big frown with the corners of your mouth down, all while holding your mouth open.
With your hand you will feel all the muscles in your neck and jawline being worked and exercised, muscle against muscle.
There is a book by Carole Maggio. It's called Facercise.
I don't have that book but it may be what you want.
