why is everybodys complexion different?!
Question:

It likely has to do with your genetic makeup. People's levels of melanin vary depending on their origin and the region from which their race is from. Also, you should consider that people "breed" across races. Ex: Black person has a baby with a white person. The baby is neither white or black, it's a mix of the two. Take that baby, and that "baby" (now an adult) has a baby with an oriental person, the new baby is a combination of black, white, oriental.and so on.
Your parents transfer complexion to you.
I believe, originally, that complexions, had to do with natural mutations that have happened over thousands of years which were triggered by sun exposure at the place of origin.
In other words: Darker people found near the equator, lighter to white people in the upper lattitudes, etc..Migration of these individuals from one region to another, and interbreeding (a good thing) between these people over years have led to what you see today.
Hope that helps.
