Does anyone experience weird side-effects when taking Prevacid?!
Question: Maybe it's just me, but I was taking Prevacid to treat GERD. At night, my muscles would be jumpy, and I would have chest pain associated with heartburn. My body would be overall very anxious. Has this happened to anyone else? I need to take the medication, but I'm scared to take it again.

Talk to your doctor; I have GERD, and I went thru several medications before my doctor settled on Zantac. I had my worst reactions from the Prevacid; I got a really rapid heartbeat, and my blood pressure shot up. Your doctor will recommend something else.

I would recommend stop taking it until you can talk to your doctor about the side effects you are experiencing. I have taken prevacid myself and experienced heartburn and my mouth was very dry. Your best bet is stop taking it, and call your doctor. Good Luck.
i got bloated my doc switched me to something else
i took prevacid and had all the same side effects talk to your dr and either have it changed to something else or maybe just adjust the dose and time taken
