For body: the combination of sugar or table salt, and enough olive oil to make it into a paste is what my natural body soap and such says to do.
The olive oil binds the powders, the water will only dissolve it and you will have nothing!

Oatmeal and water makes a excellent exfoliate also its a good facial mask too. Water and sugar doesn't work that good. You should try oatmeal and water.
