Why do we have different blood types?!

Question: Anyone know the point of it? (even though we never had a choice about it)
Answers:
It's a genetic variation like eye colour or skin tone.
Some specific diseases do not affect certain blood types and thus it seems like differnt blood types have evolved to combat these diseases.

(I am A positive by the way)

Everything is different among human beings. It would be easier to have some similar things like blood and organs. But thats the way it is. . . no logic explanation for it !
Because a lot of creation is about joy and beauty.
There's about 800 different species of Orchids.
There hundreds of different kind of Cats and Dogs.
Wouldn't it be more weird if Humans like Barby all came of the same mold?
Everything I've seen or know in nature comes in variations and we are no different from the rest in nature.
After all we are apart of nature not above it just top of a food chain.
