I need to lose 60lbs in one year to join the airforce. Any tips that would help!


Question: I am 17, I weigh 230 and I need to get down to 170 to join the airforce. I need some answers to how I can do that.

All you have to do is eat only 2000calories per day and exercise for 30 minutes every other day at 70% of your max allowed heart rate. (you actually will be exercising about 45-60 minutes since you can't count the time to warm up and cool down. It works! I lost 60 pounds in 6 months.

Believe it or not, eating multiple times a day helps loose weight. Now that doesn't mean multiple burgers from mcDonalds, but have a bagel and fruit in the morning. Maybe a light granola before noon, you luch wich could be like a grilled chicken salad or anything to that affect, and dinner is up to you. But keep the fat down. Light excercising (jogging, swimming.etc) also helps speed matabolism.
Well just eat right and get a gym membership and you should be fine and drink LOTS of water bc alot of your weight is water weight and if you drink water you loose it, it works

Water! Drink at least 64 ounces a day along with a healthy diet of protein, vegetables, fruits and grains. Lay off the carbs such as breads, pastas and starches. Stay away from sugar, high fructose corn syrup (which is in so many foods). Cut down on meat consumption.

Walking is key. Start walking at a couple of miles a day for one to two weeks. After the initial walking phase, do light jogging for the next two weeks. Build up your endurance and then begin jogging 3+ miles a day, at least 5 days a week. Good running shoes are important. Join a gym as well for weight training. Elyptical machines are great as well. Starclimbing, and cycling are also great ways to exercise.

Try the GM Diet. Go to google and type GM diet and it will find it. Its a 7 day diet that makes you lose 15lbs and cleans your system. Start with this one and then watch what you eat for the rest of the month and then repeat again. I'm sure with exercise and this plan you will make it work.
