Years ago they would cut along each tendon and remove scarring around tendons and their paths. It leaves lots of scars. Hopefully medically the solution is better today.
Well if it's in your wrists, I have wrist bracelets that make my wrists stop hurting. I don't know how doctors do it though.
Today Drs start with physical therapy and TENS therapy. Surgury is still used to clean the area of the tendon in extreme cases.
