Sweet oil will help, however, it will not take care of the real cause of its aching~sweet oil is used for loosening the wax, so it is not putting pressure on your ear! You can look at your local drug store to find any OTC (over the counter) drops they may have to help until you can get in to see a doctor~~Depending your age, most aches in the ear are caused of water & wax build up and sweet oil might just do the trick! If you are younger (child 12 & younger) a doctor would be the best bet! Good Luck! :)

Soak a Cotton ball in Alcohol and put it in the ear- H202 will work also. -they also make ear drops, warm it up a tad bit and use he drops-
I heard that a roach can make a nest in there. Go see a doctor. MIght be that or other bugs or just a simple ear ache. A doctor can see far inside with a scope.

putting a heat pack against the painful ear often helps ease the pain. It is only a temporary measure though. You need to go to the doctor, find out why you have the earache and perhaps get some drops for it.
