Why does my heart HURT?!

Question: It's not a horrible pain, so don't tell me that I am going to have a heart attack.

It's just a little. pressure, maybe..?

It happens mostly when I cough, because I have this ridiculously insane cold/allergies right now.

Is it normal for your heart to hurt like this?
It only started like a week ago.

Any advice?
Thanks.
Answers:
Try putting a heating pad on your chest while you are laying in bed. That might make the muscles relax a bit.
Are you sure that it's your heart that is hurting and not your lungs? You say that you have insane allergies and cold right now. A cough in essence is a trauma to your lungs. Any type of heavy coughing causes everything to bump into one another in there. Think of it as a blender effect. If you are at all concerned I would talk to your allergist. They might be able to perscribe something to help with the coughing and it might ease your pain. Definatley seek help because there also might be a more serious issue in there. Granted I'm not a doctor but you don't want to dismiss anything when it comes to your health.
Here's hoping for you to get well soon.

Go see a doctor. I used to have this, but it was pressure from my ribcage.

Never guess on things like this, go see an M.D.
could be your sinuses from your allergies. i get this sometimes. If I bend down the pain gets worse. It's normal if it's from allergies and sinsuses.
If your heart does it alot, not just when you are sick, then see a heart doctor. A.K.A Cardiologist? If this is the first time, you are probably coughing too much, thus straining a muscle connected to it. It happens to me alot. Try exercising more and eat healthy.
Hope I could help!
