I had my gallbladder out ages ago - Other people says they take pills but I was!

Question: I can't eat anything without feeling sick or having to run to the loo! It has been 2 years and I am going insane and driving everyone else crazy - HELP ME!
Answers:
Medicines are rarely used to treat gallstones. However, people who are on very rapid weight-loss diets may be given medicines for pain and nausea and to prevent gallstones from forming. http://health.yahoo.com/ency/healthwise/hw107151/hw107303;_ylt=AmBsVJ2X04wR_s22uOg0mh8DCLUF

Everything I can find regarding post-gallbladder surgery says there are no side effects:

The gall bladder serves as a storage organ for bile. When an abnormal gall bladder is removed (i.e. one with stones), the only change in function is a lack of pain. Digestive processes are normal afterwards. http://www.kempnermd.com/gall.shtml
WILL I BE FULLY NORMAL AFTER MY GALL BLADDER IS REMOVED? Yes. Completely normal. You will feel no side effects.

It wouldn't hurt to be re-evaluated by a physician. Maybe your symptoms are totally unrelated to your gallbladder removal.
