lol.i totally understand this question..and its only bc they picture something so perfect, and nothing is perfect so they get mad
lol uhh b/c they don't get the recogintion they want I suppose..
because if you make a mistake, it throws everyone off, and in music it can't be covered up! Also, some directors love what they do and take it very, very seriously. So when they see people fooling around, they take it as a personal insult! Conductors of bands, like symphony orchestras can be tempremental when they don't get the sound that they imagine in their mind when they read a score.

You've got me! We had the worse one in high school. One year we pulled a red plume joke on him and here it is 13 years later and his ears still turn red and he won't speak when he sees us. A Real Jack *** and one of our band directors cowrote "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" that Allen Jackson sings and his attitude still stinks!
