If you are obese and keep binge eating can that lead to diabetes and if so wich!

Question: I went on clinic site and found out my wieght and height made my in high risk for diabetes but not entill Iam older so I can binge eat and there will be no problems right?
Answers:
I would think that it is obvious that you WILL get diabetes at the rate that you are going. With all the information out there(radio, t.v., newspapers and the likes) you should at least listen to them. If your weight is what is causing the problem then do something about it. If its your emotions look into what is causing the problem too. Binge eating is just the tip of the iceberg something is causing this habit. Once you have that under control then the weight will come down and with a little bit of help from a correct diet and some exercises to begin with, later you can improve on that. Your life will be better and so will your social life. Don't wait too long or there will be no turning back.

type 2; and no you cannot. there are children who are 10 years old developing this disease.
Okay.you have been told you could become diabetic and you want to continue with you lifestyle. I wish I had that foresight. I was diagnosed a type 2 diabetic at 19 and 206 lbs. (no warning to change my lifestyle, I was a diabetic). I tried everything and until I found an excellent doctor years later and turned into a type 1 diabetic (needing insulin shots) I was finally able to control my diabetes and have a child. Since the birth of my son I have been trying to regain the control again and it has been difficult.

You are risking your life, your heart, you legs, your feet, your kidneys, your liver, your eyesight and much more by treating this like it nothing.

If I had the chance to change my lifestyle before becoming diabetic I would have but I didn't; and it now controls my life. Wake up and change your habits before it's too late.
Wrong! I would not suggest binge eating at all. You should go on a well balanced diet & keep active. If you have been diagnosed with Type 1 or 2 Diabetes, you will have to keep checking your blood sugar levels & reduce the amount on the sweet stuff big time. Your local dietitian's office should have info on this.

I am a Type 2 Diabetic.
Obesity and lack of activity are the leading risk factors min developing type 2 diabetes. Diabetes is only one of the health issues you need to be concerned with.
type B and it can hit at any age particularly if you binge eat
Wrong. You are at risk for type 2 diabetes, which you can get at any point in your life regardless of age. Usually, this type of diabetes can be treated with diet and exercise. Diabetes can come along with serious consequences, such as blindness, limb amputation, hypo and hypergylcemia. Stop binge eating, maintain a healthy diet and active lifestyle to avoid becoming diabetic.
