recently husband sets offwalk-through scanners at airport/ship.No obvious reason!

Question: worked on radar tower for airplanes during Viet Nam
recently diagnosed with Parkinson'disease
for past year he sets off alarms as he walks through scanner
officials then scan him with wand-never find anything
WHY?

My husband works at a machine shop, actually breathes all the metal that he works with into his lungs. He also sets off the scanners at the airports. I would suggest having a hair analysis done to see if he is toxic in any of the metals.
