What is the best exercise when your swimming?!


Question: I have a pool I am not an excellent swimmer but what are good exercises that I could do in the pool?

Swimming is exersize! Any movement in a pool is good! Just try simple arobics in the pool! Good luck!

Try underwater boxing & running. Stay in the shallow end, keep your head above water, and run from side to side. With boxing - just throw punches underwater and the water resistance will work you out.
Believe it or not, concentrate on your breathing by keeping it rhythmic. Deep breath in, face goes under, blow small bubbles out, final air release as face surfaces and inhale again before face goes in.
Next, alternate body parts (arm pulls only, leg kicks only) and alternate stroke, if you know them. If not, alternate between a good even stroke up and down the pool followed by a sprint. The sprint up and back the length of the pool should be timed and your progress on should improve with each passing week. There will come a time when you reach your peak speed and your goal will be to maintain that speed on your sprints.
Swimming is the best exercise. You dont have to be a good swimmer. Even slow swimming is good enough but do it for a longer time.
