Now I want know what I should do next time I see him and if he ever gets another minor attack or maybe a major.
Answers:
the best thing is to be cool and not try and stress him out by being so worried in front of him. make sure he knows that your there for him. maybe he needs a healthier diet or more exercise. If this is the case maybe you could try helping him out with that, by eating healthy with him, an goin cycling wit him, stuff like that. if its hereditary, then best you can do is be supportive.

I had a friend that had a heart attack at the age of 18, and he had a lot worse a result from it. What you need to do is encourage your friend to follow a cardio-friendly workout regime, it will help decrease his chances of a repeat. Help him stay away from the fats and high cholesterol substances. If you are ever with him, and he develops pains that feeling someone is sitting on his chest, pain up his left arm and up to his neck, call for help immediately. Also you might want to look on the internet for signs to look for. But most of all, you want to support him. This is a challenging time for him, learning to adjust. Just be there for him if he needs help.
