Do I start my birth controll pills?!
Question: I didnt get my B/C refill in time last month, so I have been off the pill for exactly 28 days today. Tomorrow, (Sun.) would normally be when I start my new pack of pills. Only problem is that I never started my period. We have used condoms the whole month and the preg. test was negative. So I dont think im pregnant. I've always been extremely regular with or without the pills. I dont know why I didnt start yet!Should I start my new pack of pills tomorrow or should I wait it out untill the Sunday after I finally get my period?

That might depend upon the type of pill pack you are using. Some with lower doses of hormones need precise timing to be reliable.
Missing your period is normal, but give your doctor a call to ask about the pills just to be safe. I realize TOMORROW is Sunday. But you can always take your first pill Monday morning and your second pill Monday night.

It's possible that the lack of pills for a month screwed up your cycle timing. You should probably wait another week and if your period still hasn't started take another pregnancy test. More than likely it will start sometime this week and you can start taking them again. I have been taking BC for quite a few years and I know the slightest change really makes things go out of whack. :)
I would go ahead and start them, Ive heard that you can take two packs in a row (two months worth of effective pills) if you want to skip a period. Ive tried it and it works, But at any rate you dont have to have a period, there has been times that ive been half way threw my period and i started my new pack because it was time to, the pills seemed to just stop my period. And no matter what you do for this next pack you have to be jsut as carefull, your not fully affected by the pills for another month yet, ive missed a month before and they told me its jsut like starting all over again, yeeeeehawwww :P BUt i would think your good to go if you know your not preggo, even if you turned up to be preggo, my doctor told me that most birth control pills wont hurt a baby if you take them durring the first part of your pregnancy not knowing your pregnant, so with all that said, if i were you i would go ahead and start taking them. If your still in doubt just call your docs office and talk to a nurse :)
b/c screws up your periods but go get checked for pregnacy because home tests are wrong a lot that happened to me but i wasnt on bc but i got pregnant skipped my period took a test it was negative went and got one and i was pregnant but i lost my baby anyways :(
