On a low sugar diet, can I eat fruits? Some bad or better for me?!

Question: They are the part of also eating less fat, cholesterol. More whole grain, fruits and vegetables. But I still need to eat low sugar. But I do love fruit. Is it ok to eat lots?
Answers:
I think its fine for most cases. However, avoid fruits that have a high glycemic index (GI). An example is the banana. Avoid those because it will spike your glucose. The spike in your glucose levels will raise your insulin levels. Higher insulin levels lead to higher fat storage. Other high glycemic examples are pineapple and kiwi.

Good fruits to eat are berries, pears, and apples that have lower GI.

Other Answers:
Yes because fruits have natural sugar.
of course u can! fruits are super healthy! but depend for example grapes have tons of sugar depends on the fruits u like!
avoid bananas, mangos, kiwis and passion fruit.
Fruits are good for you. They contain a lot of sugar, but it's in a form that's intended for the body to use. As they say, everything in moderation. Eating fruit is not going to make you gain weight, but to eat lots of it could affect you negatively if you have diabetes. If you are trying to lose weight, feel free to have fruit. It's healthy!
