Well, everyone already described the physical results, and some of the social results. I'd say for some people it's not that big of a deal (for Americans), though for some it is. I first had sex when I was 16 and then I realized how much I disliked the girl and it was over like a week later. I'd view any sort of 'love' that comes from this with skepticism.
