Know a doc (ortho) who can fix or help my daughter's injured ankle?!

Question: My 27 year old daughter slipped and injured her ankle last year. Her current Dr, an orthopedic specialist, has failed to fix it, and has given up trying even though he knows she has a real problem. She works on her feet all day, serving VA hospital patients. It routines swells, gets painful, and forces her take time off, and restrains her from fully enjoying her life. She is a first class person, and very much deserves to live her life absent her ankle limits her mobility. Please help me with a suggestion. Thank You!
Answers:
Not knowing what your situation is, i.e. location, insurance, etc. I can only recommend (if she has insurance) to check with your provider manual and find a new doctor. It's always good to get second and third opinions on something like that.
