that depends on your personal taste. i happen to prefer hard water systems, they have a better flavor to me. most of them, anyway. we lived in a house once where the water tasted like sulfur and rust. ugh!

be careful how much of the softened water you drink. there is a lot of sodium in it, and it will cause you health problems.

It depends on your taste. When I was a kid, I would spend weekends with my aunt & uncle and they had a soft water system. I hated it. I would always bring my own water.
