Is there a home remedie out there that helps with anxiety, panic attacks?!

Question: I have mitro valve prolapse regurgatation,i take bp medication and protonix for heartburn,i'm wanting to go to college but i get anxiety and panic attacks..
Answers:
Be cautious with herbal remedies because there may be interaction with your current medication.
Try yoga or meditative breathing. When you feel your heart start to race, take deep, slow breaths. Think about only one thing, such as relaxing your muscles. Feel your body relax and calm. Then go about your day. This will take practice, so start now and you may be ready to take a summer session at college.
Also, don't let things pile up. The more you have to do the more stressed you are. Start now and take care of the things you have been avoiding or ignoring.
Start school slowly, have a plan and practice. If you want to get therapy to find the source of your problems then you can, but if you want to deal with the panic, remember you can control the physical responses that trigger the attack.
Best wishes to you.

there is a chinese herbal formula called Gui pi tang which is good, but you should get a consultation with a traditional chinese medicine practitioner to make sure it is appropriate. usually costs about £30 for a consultation and £7 per week for the herbal formula
"CALMS" or "CALMS FORTE" are great for reducing anxiety without side effects.

You can find this at a health food or drug store (like Osco's or Walgreen's).
