Does anyone suffere from anxiety disorder? If so, what can you tell me about it!
Question: I recently started having a lot of health problems and have been in and out of the ER. Every time I visit the doctor, they tell me I'm perfectly healthy. I was confused and frustrated by this b/c how can a perfectly healthy person feel so much pain? So now we think it's related to anxiety and I just started medication for it. I still feel a lot of chest pain though. I want to make sure I don't worry about (thus the anxiety), but I don't want to find out this isn't the problem either.
Answers:
An anxiety disorder may have physical side effects, but can be treated with counseling, and/or medication. Most anxiety is caused by the environment and must be accuratley identified by a health care professional to be treated. If you are otherwise healthy, a consultation is warranted.
