is there a real cure for nail fungus?!

Question:
Answers:
There are two primary methods of treating nail fungus. Topical treatments (liquids, creams) are commonly used for to treat less severe cases. These treatments are usually acid-based liquids or anti-fungal creams. Oral treatments are powerful anti-fungal medications, such as Lamisil or Sporanox. Prescription oral medications are usually used in more severe or difficult cases.

Yes! You can soak your nails in white vinegar.
For the feet, yes. doctor prescribed Lamisil.
How about that medicine..lamasil, i think. I've the commericals on tv.
Yes there is but it can take a long time. There is a chemical you brush on like a nail polish - expect that to take up to a year. I have heard of other "cures" such as using noxema but don't think that they are all that effective. There is also a pill that is supposed to work much faster. Depends on whether you want to go external or internal.
Stop picking your a**.
yea, just soak it in epsom salts and keep a bandage over it until it heals and if on ur foot always wear sneakers
cut your toes off
An oral medication has the most success, including treating the most tenacious one like athelete's foot. You'll need to see a doctor to get the prescription.
Yes. But it takes time. Maybe 3 months or more. My foot doctor gave me a topical to use.

First, you had to use an emery board to sand down the top of the nail. Then I put on a dab of this topical cream, followed by a larger dab of Vick's vapor rub and mixed them together and spread evenly over the whole nail, and under it as much as possible. (The Vick's smothered the fungus, which prevented from continued growth.)

Within 3 months, mine was cured, and hasn't come back. (2 years now) I'm sorry, but I don't know the name of the topical he gave me.

I'd suggest not taking any drugs orally to correct this problem.
YES,
1 TOPICAL FUNGICIDES. $7.00 COST APPLY 1-2 TIMES DAY
2 PILL LAMICIL I THINK HARD (ON THE LIVER)
I like a product called Reclaim Antimicrobial Nail Solution. It used to be available by perscription only, but now you can ask the pharmacists at the drug store and they usually have it back there, available over the counter. It is a broad spectrum solution for toenails and fingernails infected with fungus or other microbes. You have to be religious about applications twice daily, but it doesn't irritate your skin. I got a fungus under my pinky toenail from a spa pedicure and it took about 2-3 weeks to get rid of it.
No. But when you've tried them all, including the prescription medicines, try an inexpensive treatment that will give the best results. It's Vicks Vaporub, applied in a thin coating daily.
yes, first find out the cause, if fungal infection it will take about 6-12 months treatment depending on the causative agent. removal of, the infected nail, use KMnO4 solution and oral Imidazole derivative will cure u if Candida is involved.
In cases of Scopularuopsis brevicaulis and other saprophytic fungi, Amphotericin b should be used
