lose the South Beach diet.I heard it causes kidney problems. use the don't you dare diet Diet. eat healthy, don't shut out all ur fave foods or ur just gonna binge, just pick a fave junky snack every few days or after a week. drink lots of water, it gives u a slimmer waste. excercise and work out.

FIRST, IT HELPS TO KNOW WHAT WEEK YOUR IN OF THE DIET, ARE YOU EXERCISING, AND ARE YOU FOLLOWING THE DIET EXACTLY WITHOUT STRAYING. ALSO WHY DO YOU THINK THE DIETS EFFECTS ARE WANING. I WILL ASSUME YOU'RE IN YOUR FOURTH OR FIFTH WEEK. INITIALLY WITH THE DIET CARBOHYDRATES ARE DROPPED DRASTICALLY. CARBS ARE OUR MAIN ENERGY SOURCE AND WHEN WE CONSUME THEM REGULARLY IN MODERATION WE CREATE A STORAGE OF GLYCOGEN IN THE MUSCLE AND IN THE LIVER. THIS IS A GOOD THING. THIS STORAGE OF GLYCOGEN IN THE MUSCLE BRINGS WITH WATER. SO WHEN YOU DECREASE YOUR CARB INTAKE YOUR GLYCOGEN STORAGE IS DECREASED IN THE MUSCLE WHICH IN TURN DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF WATER THAT WAS IN THE MUSCLE. THE INITIAL AMOUNT OF WEIGHT LOST SEEM INCREDIBLE IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF THE DIET BECAUSE OF THIS REACTION. WHEN YOU BEGIN TO SLOWLY REINTRODUCE CARBS BACK INTO THE DIET WE BEGIN TO CREATE THE GLYCOGEN STORAGE AGAIN WITH THE WATER ATTRACTION AS WELL. DON'T CONFUSE THIS WITH WATER RETENTION AND AND I'M NOT SAYING THE DIET DOESN'T WORK. I'M SAYING DON'T GIVE UP AND DON'T PUT TO MUCH STOCK IN THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE BECAUSE CAN'T GIVE YOU THE FULL PICTURE OF YOUR PROGRESS.
