It's possible to sleep only 8 minutes a day with meditation?!

Question:
Answers:
Yes.

Yes, proper meditation is complete relaxation and it can reduce the need for sleep. My sleeping habits changed drastically when I started meditating. If you meditate long enough, you probably will not even want 8 minutes of sleep.

You really feel refreshed after meditation if you have properly relaxed. For anyone getting different results should maybe try Buddhist meditation.

no it is not, because when someone is in the state of sleep, it gives time for the brain to relax, and to pass over all the information that it has gathered int he day. At least 8 hours daily would be recomended for this process.
Well, I know that med students, for example, learn to "power nap" for short periods (20 mins or so) and can go for weeks without actually getting a full 8 hours at night but I'm not sure meditation would provide the same level of rest that a nap would.
meditation is a state of deep focus and is practically the opposite of sleep. there is no substitute for a good night's sleep on the body and mind.
what are you thinking of?
