Argggh! This itch is maddening!?!
Question: Can someone explain the physiology of an itch? Even though a mosquito bite gets scratched until it bleeds, it still itches! I want to understand how itches work. Suggestions on how to make it stop would be cool, too.
Answers:
Mosquito bites release a chemical inside of your skin that irritates the skin, making you feel the need to itch. Usually an itch is just a small irritation, or pressure sensors being pressed upon by light weight/irritation.
I'm sorry, though.i don't know how to make it stop. :)
