I want to lose 30 pounds in 12 weeks any tips?!


Question: I have a jelly belly and jiggly arms and I want to get rid of it! So I can start my senior year off looking nice and not sloppy! Can anyone help me?

This is a crash diet and if you go back to your old ways of eating you will gain the weight back as pure fat.. Your body burns 150 calories to digest a stomach full of food, that being said if you never eat more than 150 calories at a time you will not be taking in any calories without starving yourself. I lost 45 lbs. in 4 weeks doing this. I ate first thing in the morning, usually a carb friendly yogurt--80 calories--that's burning 70 calories just by eating. And then I ate every 2-3 hours till bedtime. This will work, but you should try to take a multi vitamin in the morning, this helps you feel nutritionally satisfied and therefore less hungry. I also didn't weigh myself for the first 3 weeks, that way I didn't get discouraged if the weight wasn't coming off as fast as I wanted it to. Best wishes

those are two seperate questions. losing weight and toning up are acheived differently. anyone can quickly lose weight, just fast for 40 days on a liquid diet (juices and water) and you're sure to lose at least 20 lbs. is it healthy? of course not, but you'll acheive your goal. you wnat to tone your flab, then there aint no magic button expect weight training combined with aerobics. simple human physiology. good luck. That is an easy target weight.only 2 1/2 pounds per week. This will happen ONLY if you make up your mind that you really want to do this. Today, STOP completely ALL sugar, and NO alcohol (if you drink). Cut your diet to 1200-1300 calories per day.In fact, if you want the easiest way to do this, go to Weight Watchers, either on line, or join up if you have a wieght watchers in your area..your target is very realistic, you will loose a bunch of pounds within the first 10 or so days, then about 2 pounds per week. You need to make a meal plan of what you are going to eat during the week. Having it all planned out makes it much easier. Next, do you have the will power to eat only 1200-1400 calories each day? If you dont, then i would suggest the slimfast plan. You eat a shake or a bar as HALF your braeakfast and HALF your lunch. They are very good and very filling. An example of breakfast would be a slimfast shake and a banana. An example of lunch would be a slimfast bar or shake and a baked potato or a salad. With the breakfast and lunch, make the food half of your meal about 200 calories. You will be much healtier if you eat 400calories for breakfast, 400 calories for lunch, and and between 400 and 600 calories for dinner. Now, for dinner just eat smart. Fill half your plate with veggies, and a quarter with meat, and a quarter for bread or pasta. This will take a few days to be fully satisfying, but it is well worth it.

For the exercise i highly reccomend Billy's Bootcamp. You can pick it up at target or walmart for 35-40 dollars. If you follow his plan ( you dont have to follow his food plan if you use the one i told you) you can see results in a week. Now, you wont really see tone and definition until the fat has burned off, but remember you are toning the muscle everytime you exercise. If you are worried you might not be able to do the exercise listen to this. I am five foot one and started this weighing 217 pounds and after a week I could do the hour long video WITHOUT stopping.

Also, remember to drink PLENTY of water. At least 8-10 glasses each day.
