What are the best tasting protein powders that don't break the bank?!
Question: I'd like to starting doing some protein shakes as a snack. I've only tried one brand so far, and it didn't work for me, it has an odor or a taste or something that I can't handle. Since these things aren't cheap to trial and error with, I thought I'd ask which ones taste the best and smell the least. Thanks.

Strawberry's great. The GNC brand, not too sure about the quality, but fairly cheap I remember. Strawberry tastes good. If you want to pay a little bit more, get ON 100% Whey Protein, the strawberry flavor in that doesn't even taste like a protein shake!

I never really liked any of them, but what I've done to make it a little easier to drink is mix the vanilla flavor (any brand) with OJ.it's not too bad
I like the chocolate lover's myoplex!
I drink the GNC Chocolate/Caramel one & love it. It's under $25 for about a 30 day supply. Also, if you sign up for their 'club' you get a discount the first week of every month on all their products.
I got the protein powder at Sam's Club. I mix it with water, and it's not too bad. Don't expect it to be great, but you can't beat Sam's Club prices.
I use Bene Protein. It's available at Walgreens.com. You can mix it into ANYTHING--tasteless, odorless, dissolves great. I add it to my slim-fast. Sometimes I add it to sugar free fat free pudding too--the problem there is that the pudding doesn't gel right when I do.
Trust me, I am the most ultimate fussy eater, I won't eat things that smell funny or taste funny, so if I say it's tasteless, it really is.
